Heatsealable Polyester Film
This is a coextruded, biaxially orientated one side heatsealable polyester film with a corona treatment on the reverse side. The amorphous seal layer, seals to CPET, APET, BOPET, glass, coated paper and paperboard. The corona treatment on the reverse side aids ink adhesion. The film complies with the relevant EC directives for food contact applications.
There main applications are in the packaging and industrial sectors.
Due to the excellent temperature performance of the film (freezer to oven) this is used for the dual ovenable ready meal market either as a lidding film or a bag. Product can be taken from the freezer and then cooked in the oven or microwave.
It has an excellent aroma barrier so is an ideal choice for bags for packing fire lighters, toilet fresheners etc.
Available in the thickness of 12, 15,20, 25 and 30 micron and in a wide range of widths.
Peelable and Sealable Polyester Film
This is a biaxially orientated polyester film, one side heatsealable and peelable with a corona treatment on the reverse side. We supply this product in two levels of seal strength . The corona treatment on the reverse side aids ink adhesion .The film complies with the relevant EC directives for food contact applications .
Its main application is in the packaging sector. It is usually used as a lidding film where the customer requires that the film can be peeled off. This can be for dual ovenable applications (freezer to microwave or oven) or for lidding of fresh produce and other products.
Available in 21 and 25 microns and in a wide range of widths.
Milky White Polyester Film
This is a biaxially orientated polyester film.
Its is a milky white polyester film, suitable as an insulation material for electrical and industrial applications. This film has superior thermal properties when compared with a standard BOPET.
Available in a thickness range of 125, 190, 250 and 350 micron.
Chemically Treated Polyester Film
This is a biaxially orientated polyester film with one side chemically treated in the production process with an acrylic treatment.
The pretreatment (chemical coating) provides very good adhesion to solvent based printing inks and laminating adhesives. The film complies with the relevant EC regulations for food packaging applications.
Its main applications are in printing and lamination, as the pretreatment aids these processes. One common benefit is better half tone colour definition and quality of print in the heat seal area of packs, it can also be metalised
Available in 12 micron in a vast range of widths. The film can also be obtained in 10 and 23 micron.
